I have to say that I am loving being a jewelry designer.

Just last week, my husband Michael, son Dakota and I set off on a Tiger Lily jewelry adventure.  Our first location was the beautiful Ojai Valley Inn and Spa.  If you have never ventured out there for a facial or message and relaxing day lying by their pool, I highly recommend you put it on your "to-do" list!

Ojai Valley SpaThe goal:  to meet with the buyer for their Spa Boutique.  Needless to say, it was a wonderful time- little Dakota and Michael were even invited in for the meeting and we talked business, life, and Dakota even left with a few gifts to be added to the toy box!

Next, we were off to the amazing Santa Barbara... the city that over the years I have fallen more and more in love with.  And now to meet with one of my favorite boutique owners/buyers- Marty and John from Blue Bee.  Over the years of working with them, I am safe to say that they are now not only business colleagues but friends.

After a look through Tiger Lily's new Spring Collection, many laughs, a few photos together, and some time for them to get to know little Dakota a bit more, it was time to go home.

I guess the life lesson I am learning is to be content and satisfied with what I am given in this life, and to make the most of each day as it unfolds with all it's beauty.
